Faced with environmental issues on a daily basis, Quiksilver and Roxy riders play an important role, either personally or with the Group's backing, actively supporting its long-standing efforts to preserve the mountain and marine environments that represent our «playgrounds». Quiksilver is fortunate to have its ambassadors, acting as spokespeople for the group’s commitment on the ground. They include Kelly Slater, Jeremy Flores, Mathieu Crepel, Kjersti Buaas, Lee-Ann Curren, Samantha Davies, Alain Riou … These athletes take part in events aimed at raising funds for other projects, such as Kelly Slater and «Un maillot pour la vie» (a shirt for life), or Lee-Ann Curren and Surf&Hope. They also contribute to projects run in collaboration with Quiksilver. Every season, Mathieu Crepel and Kjersti Buaas try their hand at designing, as they join forces with our teams to develop pro-models in recycled polyester, which they then wear in snowboarding competitions all over the world.
