When we arrived to the village, we got greeted with a welcoming ceremony that was fit for kings! Music, colour, flair, rhythm, dance and smiles bigger than the sun. We were introduced to the elders and leaders of the surrounding villages who are all involved in the project, and the chief gave us a welcoming speech with a powerful statement that summed up the whole reason we were there. “A village without a purpose is a dying village”.
